Evaluations
and
Treatment

Evaluations

At the initial evaluation you can expect that both the child/adolescent and caregiver will need to be present. A combination of client interview, clinical observation and standardized testing may be performed in order to result in a client-centered evaluation. Results of the evaluation determine client goals.

Treatment

Treatment sessions are weekly following an evaluation. Each session is customized to your child to meet their needs and work towards the goals outlined in their evaluation. Caregivers are encouraged to stay and be active participants in the treatment sessions. This fosters a collaborative bond between the child's team members. Thus, allowing for greater carryover and use of the strategies learned in clinic, both at home and in the community.
