Assessments

At your child’s initial evaluation, we ask that both your child and a caregiver attend together. This allows us to get to know your family and understand your child’s unique strengths and needs. During the evaluation, we’ll chat with you, spend some time observing your child, and may use standardized assessments to help guide our understanding. Everything we do is centered around your child and family. The information we gather will help us create personalized recommendations and set positive, strengths-based goals together, so your child can thrive both in our sessions and beyond.

Treatment

Treatment sessions take place weekly, starting after your child's initial evaluation. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to your child's unique needs, focusing on the goals discussed during their evaluation. We warmly invite caregivers to join in and be active participants—your involvement is a valuable part of your child's progress! By working together as a team, we build strong connections and ensure that the strategies your child learns in the clinic are easily carried over into daily life at home and in the community. Our goal is to support your child every step of the way, making therapy a positive and collaborative experience for everyone involved.

Consultations

We’re here to support your child’s growth in every setting where they learn and play. Our consultations are designed to be flexible and collaborative, so your family gets the help you need, where you need it most.

Here are some ways we can work together:

  • In-school observation: We can visit your child’s school to observe them in their learning environment and get a better sense of how to help them succeed.

  • School care coordination meetings: We’re happy to take part in meetings at your child’s school, working alongside teachers and staff to ensure everyone is on the same page.

  • 504 plans and IEPs: If your child needs extra support at school, we can provide evaluations and recommendations to help with 504 plans or Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

  • Home support: We offer evaluations and can create a personalized home exercise plan, giving you practical tools to support your child’s progress at home.

  • Teamwork with other care providers: We believe in a team approach, so we’re always glad to collaborate with other professionals involved in your child’s care.

Let’s partner together to make sure your child gets the support they need, wherever they need it!
